We’ve all heard of a mid-life crisis. Well, search the internet for something called a “Quarter-life Crisis”. A quarter-life crisis is a period of uncertainty, anxiety, and self-reflection that typically occurs in a person's mid-20s to early 30s, often centered around career choices, relationships, and life goals. It can be triggered by the pressures of adulthood, such as societal expectations and the fear of not meeting personal or professional milestones. During this time, individuals may question their identity, purpose, and future direction, seeking meaning and fulfillment in different aspects of their lives.
I have a huge soft spot in my heart for young adults, because it was in my 20’s and 30’s that I struggled the most with my own symptoms of anxiety and depression and it is also the time I learned there is a way out of your symptoms and a way into a life of greater happiness, peace and rest. Please, if you or a loved one who is a young adult is struggling with anxiety or depression we can help. In fact, we are actually really good at helping young adults navigate their current challenges and manage their symptoms of anxiety and depression, so please, reach out so we can help.
